Every now and again, you see news articles exposing a charity for duplicity, wasting money, officers abusing their positions of power and responsibility e.t.c. But should that stop you from giving or from believing in the good that could come out of your generosity? No! and here are the reasons why:
- You receive more by helping others in the way of charity. The money you donate will not actually make you poorer or take away from anything you need, it will instead be a blessing where your earnings would multiply. Giving is a means of attaining more – more money, peace of mind and a cleaner, purer heart.
- Helping others will motivate you to help even more, especially if you know the impact the charity is having in changing peoples lives. If you have more, you can give more and so this in turn motivates you to do well in your own life and work hard to keep on giving. It also helps you become a better person, you feel better about yourself and more positive about the world around you.
- Because you can. If you are lucky to be in a position to decide whether you should help or not, it means you CAN help – it is just a question of if you truly wanted to. This means you are very lucky and one of the most privileged people alive with all your basic needs of food, clothing and shelter met.
Why don’t you Give a Hand? Let’s give more. Like, share and donate.
