ABDULLAH MUHSIN NORRIS-MARONG
Having a place for the community is crucial where we can pray and have social gatherings. In 2015 I saw the need to help the less privileged so I set up a charity to raise funds for the poor and needy called Salaam Blessing. The name was later changed to Give a Hand.
The community is benefiting by having a place for prayers and receiving lectures; the poor and needy in our target area of West Africa are getting aid. We also give food parcels out in Manchester.
I completed my dream of establishing a Mosque in Manchester, I will carry on with my work supporting the community and my vision of helping the poor through Give a Hand.
